Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on January 31, 1974. She's best known as Bo in the Showcase Television show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. The father of Silk, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall the earliest moments of her life, including watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk was featured in many commercials when she was just a child. The year 1997 was the time she received a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move to Toronto to Los Angeles during the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she met him in 2007 in an actor's workshop located in Los Angeles. They were engaged the year 2009 and wed in a civil ceremony in December of that year. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton with an Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk had the son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13, 2016. Silk has a number of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win an award called the Gemini in 2009 to play this character. The role was assigned to her as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk told fans of the show the joyous news that she had become pregnant during the filming of season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. Silk revealed via Twitter, on 20 June 2013, that production was underway for Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4 of the show. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous social media following, including Facebook and Twitter because of its success.
