Srushti Deshmukh is beginning working on her UPSC entrance in her third year in engineering. After her graduation she wondered if she would be content in the engineering role. Then, she realised civil services was her passion and focused on the field. The parents of her encouraged her to focus on civil work and to find an opportunity to serve the public. She was motivated to become an IAS officer and was focused on that goal. Achieving UPSC takes more work. When she was studying engineering courses, she also used to study for various subjects at UPSC. She set aside time for test preparation daily. In just one and a quarter months, she passed her engineering tests, but stayed clear of all social interactions.
