Yael is the Australian resident of New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael has a degree from NIDA. Yael was fortunate enough from a very young age to work with the best storytellers and performers in Australia, as well as visionaries working in the television, film and theatre industry. Yael leads a highly successful career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's new life in New York City began when her production was critically acclaimed at Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael was the co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery promotes creative writing, and creative endeavors in the Bushwick studio.
