
Jazmine, a Philadelphia native was raised and born in the city. Her mother Pam was a backing singer at Philadelphia International Records. In the early age of five, her father was appointed as the curator of Strawberry Mansion Section. Strawberry Mansion Section. Her family moved later into this historic structure. The year 2005 marks her Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts graduated who is majoring in the field of vocal music. Sullivan played the contralto member of the kids' choir. She later sang in the adult choir. Sullivan did not get exposed to the world of secular music for the first time. "I started singing solos in churches, and one of my friends wanted me to sign up to record a gospel song at age 11. but I wasn't quite ready for the task," she says. Then, McDonald's held a contest with children from large cities. I was selected to sing "Accept The Grace God Gives" during It's Showtime at the Apollo. And the people were very enthusiastic. She was just 13 when she performed along alongside Stevie Wonder for his grandson's birthday celebration. Sullivan, at age 15 first got signed by Jive Records. There, she recorded an entire album. However, it was never released. Sullivan was later dropped from the label. Her work had been in good relations with Missy Elliott. Elliott produced numerous tracks for her, including "Backstabbers" that was produced by Timbaland.
